3D-Fuel® Pro PLA is an easy-to-use 3D printing material designed with the high impact strength needed in industrial applications to meet the growing demand of companies looking for a material with the properties of ABS, but the printability of PLA. In Izod Impact testing, Pro PLA displays 4.3 times the impact strength of PLA. Pro PLA exhibits significantly higher impact strength than ABS. Pro PLA is manufactured by 3D-Fuel in the USA and Ireland using NatureWorks® Ingeo™ 3D870 resin. All of 3D-Fuel’s PLA materials are NatureWorks’ Ingeo™ certified, meaning the filament has passed a defined set of tests to assure the quality of the product.
Pro PLA arrives in individual boxes wound on easy-to-use full 1kg (2.2lbs) or 4kg (8.8lbs) spools and is vacuum sealed with a desiccant packet to keep out any moisture. The tolerances of each individual spool of filament are printed right on each box.
