The LulzBot booth at CES® 2018 will be a show floor 3D printer factory, using award-winning LulzBot 3D Printers to produce more 3D printers. This unprecedented display will give CES-goers in Las Vegas a first-hand look at how LulzBot 3D Printers are manufactured in Loveland, Colorado, USA with domestic and imported parts. From the 3D printing of specialized components, to final calibration and packaging, the entire process of making a LulzBot 3D printer will happen live. Attendees will have opportunities to win one of the 20 limited-edition Las Vegas-built printers bundled with accessories and filament.

“Our ‘show floor factory’ is not a proof of concept, we’ve been using 3D printers in production since 2011,” Aleph Objects President Harris Kenny said. “Evolved makers around the world are transforming manufacturing with LulzBot 3D Printers. We encourage you to join us and make everything.”
At Aleph Objects’ headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, USA, more than 150 LulzBot 3D Printers run 24/7 printing custom components used to build more printers. “The Cluster” as it is known, transforms 50kg of filament per day into extruder gears, fan ducts, structural components, and more, and recently printed its 2-millionth production-quality part. At CES, a micro-cluster will be on hand, with nine LulzBot 3D printers hard at work printing 3D printer components.
In addition to the additive manufacturing demonstration and 3D printer give-away, the company will also be announcing availability of three new printer accessory products and showcasing several other recent releases. Aerostruder Tool Heads for the LulzBot TAZ and LulzBot Mini will be released for purchase on January 8. The Aerostruders allow printing of both rigid and flexible materials without a tool head change. Available soon after CES will be the LulzBot Mini LCD Controller that allows operation of the popular 3D printer without connection to a host computer.
“We announced ten new products at the end of November 2017,” Aleph Objects Director of Marketing, Ben Malouf said. “We’re excited to be highlighting the final three at CES 2018. Other recently released products being demonstrated will be the LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder Tool Head v3, engineered for printing with water-soluble support structures, and Modular Print Bed Systems for LulzBot TAZ and Mini. Last but not least, the latest version of Cura LulzBot Edition, featuring a revamped interface and new features, will be in use and available for demonstration in the booth.
