LulzBot Aerostruder v2 Micro: Fine Detail 3D Prints With 0.25 mm E3D Nozzle

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA—Aleph Objects, Inc., manufacturer of LulzBot 3D Printers, has a new tool head that enables users to accurately 3D print penny-scale parts (image link). The ultra precise Aerostruder v2 Micro Tool Head is at SIGGRAPH 2018, where attendees can watch this meticulous tool head in action, paired with the recently-released LulzBot Mini 2 3D Printer. The company will be showing off a “micro art gallery,” featuring tiny patrons viewing miniature art exhibits. The new tool head is expected to be available for purchase in September 2018. 

The Aerostruder v2 Micro Tool Head features a genuine E3D Titan Aero Extruder/Hot End with a 0.25 millimeter nozzle and 360-degree part cooling for incredibly detailed prints and excellent overhang and bridge performance. This tool head is perfect for engineers, 3D artists, and designers seeking a higher level of detail and surface quality, while retaining the convenience and reliability offered by the LulzBot ecosystem including Cura LulzBot Edition software and Marlin firmware.
