LulzBot TAZ Pro S brings out-of-the-box industrial grade 1.75mm capability to the LulzBot line.

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA, USA, November 11, 2020 – LulzBot® announced the LulzBot TAZ Pro S as an addition to its TAZ Pro industrial desktop 3D printer line. The TAZ Pro S provides users with high quality 1.75mm material printing and LulzBot’s proven enterprise grade reliability. This machine produces large functional prototypes, manufacturing aids, and print-on-demand parts with professional results.

TAZ Pro S Enables 1.75mm Material Printing for Optimal Part Characteristics

LulzBot TAZ Pro S

Dual nickel coated hardened steel drive gears in the single extruder M175 tool head provide exceptional pushing power, lightning fast retraction, and uninterrupted material flow without fear of grinding or slipping.

The M175 tool head prints a broad variety of 1.75mm filament - from TPU and nylon to PLA, ABS and rigid carbon-filled high-strength materials that are too abrasive for typical out-of-the-box desktop 3D printers. LulzBot 3D printers support the industry’s most diverse array of thermoplastics from leading premium filament manufacturers including flexible, rigid, composite, conductive, high strength, and chemically resistant materials.

TAZ Pro S Provides Superior Print Quality and Industrial-Grade Components

The Z-axis belt drive delivers fast cycle times for quicker throughput. The reduction of Z wobble through the belt drive and X/Y/Z backlash compensation improves 3D printed part quality and accuracy.

A large print volume of 280 x 280 x 285 mm (11.02” x 11.02” x 11.22”) allows for large industrial printing.  The filament run-out sensor will alarm before coming to the end of a filament spool, saving users from print failures due to running out of filament.

TAZ Pro S Makes It Easy to Get Professional Results

Enhanced 32-bit electronics provide for greater processing power and more memory for complex parts. The TAZ Pro S provides improved visibility from a 5” full color touch screen, and quiet operation while sitting right on your desk from the Trinamic TMC2130 stepper drivers. The TAZ Pro S features automated X/Y/Z offset calibration, nozzle wiping, and self-leveling features ensure exceptional, expedited results. Underscoring the industrial grade build quality, the TAZ Pro S features cable chain and reinforced electrical connectors on all wiring harnesses for long cable life.

LulzBot TAZ Pro S

The TAZ Pro S, like all LulzBot Desktop 3D Printers, comes ready to print out of the box. Each printer is calibrated and tested before it leaves the LulzBot factory. Made in the USA, with a focus on local and regional supply chains, LulzBot printers are as rugged as the plains of North Dakota where they are manufactured.

Cura LulzBot Edition Software continues to include pre-configured print profiles, tested for over 35 filament types.
