LOVELAND, COLORADO, USA – Aleph Objects, Inc. released the new multi-material LulzBot TAZ FlexyDually Tool Head v2, expanding the line of tool heads designed for the company's top-ranked 3D printers (rated No. 1 and No. 4 out of 980 machines by Aniwaa.) This expert-level upgrade enables the user to 3D print both flexible and rigid materials during a single print run. The FlexyDually Tool Head v2 is available for purchase at LulzBot.com.This professional-grade tool head uses open format 3 mm filament, heats up to 300 degrees Celsius (572 degrees Fahrenheit), and is capable of printing dozens of combinations of materials. The FlexyDually Tool Head v2 is an accessory upgrade compatible with the LulzBot TAZ 4 and up.
The FlexyDually Tool Head v2 is officially supported in the latest version of Cura LulzBot Edition, available online at LulzBot.com/Cura. The latest version of Cura LulzBot Edition includes built-in quickprint profiles for popular materials like NinjaFlex® and SemiFlex™ from NinjaTek™ (a division of Fenner Drives).
